Wyoming County is in the western part of New York State, east of Buffalo and slightly west of due south of Rochester. The county is in the Holland Purchase Region.

The Cordelia A. Greene Library was established in 1897. Today the library Today the library is committed to carrying on the legacy of doctor and philanthropist Greene, whose original endowment made the library possible.

Eagle Free Library serves the Town of Eagle. The library is located in the hamlet of Bliss and is a member of The Pioneer Library System which serves libraries in Ontario, Wayne, Wyoming and Livingston Counties.

The mission of the Perry Public Library is to make readily available a variety of materials and information which help to fulfill the recreational, informational and educational needs of the residents of Lake County.
