Brief Description of the county

Wayne County is in the western part of New York State, east of Rochester and northwest of Syracuse, on the south shore of Lake Ontario. Sodus Bay is located on the north shoreline of the county.  Wayne County is part of the Rochester, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area and lies on the south shore of Lake Ontario, forming part of the northern border of the United States with Canada.

Since 1934 the Clyde-Savannah Public Library has served its community as an educational and cultural center. Today, they offer a variety of electronic resources, including computer literacy classes, along with their print collection.
