Brief Description of the county

Steuben County is in the southwestern part of New York State, immediately north of the Pennsylvania border.  Steuben County comprises the Corning, NY Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the Elmira-Corning, NY Combined Statistical Area.

The Addison Public Library serves as a local branch of the Southern Tier Library System. It offers print books, reading programs for children, book clubs for adults, and access to online reference material.
