NYSCulturalEd.org provides parents/families with an interactive map of Cultural Institutions across New York State that they can visit with their children. All Cultural Institutions are categorized by type and county. This section of the website will allow parents, children, and families to fully experience local culture and complement the education of the Common Core curriculum.

Cultural Institutions have also provided NYSCulturalEd.org with Open Educational Resources, which are publicly available resources that you can use to complement your child’s school curriculum with visits to local exhibits. By using this section of the website, parents, children, and families can explore the knowledge stored in local exhibits, archives, libraries, and other Cultural Institutions.
