Historic Huguenot Street

Historic Huguenot Street

Followers of Protestant theologian John Calvin, a group of Huguenots from France and Belgium sought safety from persecution by the Catholic church and its allies in Europe in the 1600s in America. Historic Huguenot Street aims to engage, educate, and challenge a diverse audience by collecting, preserving, and interpreting the buildings, objects, documents, and stories of the Huguenots’ multicultural journey in America.
